One of the greatest cultural institutions in the world.
Six shops in four years for the UK’s most popular visitor attraction. Six million people a year step through the doors of the British Museum, their huge variety both a retail opportunity and a logistical challenge.
The brief was ‘to provide the best design to fit the museum’. The shops had to be sensitive to their sensational surroundings whilst practical and purposeful in how they function.
“Retailers want a shop design that works for the staff, which means it then works for the customer. But we never compromised on the design excellence.
Callum and his team delivered to the word!”
Roderick Buchanan, Retail Buying and Sales Director, The British Museum
